Frequently Asked Questions
Is the content free to read?
Yes. Every chapter releases for free on its normal schedule. A donation only lets you read it earlier, ad-free, and adds Discord perks. You never have to donate to read Temple Scan.
What do I get for donating?
Early access to chapters ahead of the public schedule (usually a few days to a week), an ad-free experience on those chapters, and a colored role in our Discord. Higher support tiers also unlock priority project requests and the ability to suggest new series for translation.
What if I just wait?
Then you read everything for free. Early access is normally only a few days to a week ahead, so if you are happy to wait a little, you lose nothing. Donating is purely a way to support the team and skip the wait.
How do I donate?
Through PayPal for now. You receive a personal PayPal link inside your Discord ticket right after you open it. We are working on adding more options.
Is the donation recurring automatically?
No. Each donation is for one month of access. There is nothing to cancel and nothing renews automatically. When the month ends, you decide whether to support again.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Open a ticket in #direct-support and an admin will help you with a refund.
Why do you need my TempleToons account email?
Your support unlocks perks on templetoons.com. We use the email to find your account and attach the role. Without it, we have no way to link your donation to you.
How long until I get my role?
Once a staff member sees your tagged ticket with valid proof, it is usually quick — under 24 hours in most cases.
Is support available worldwide?
Yes. It is open to everyone, everywhere. We are grateful for every supporter, wherever you read from.
